Melinda Watts is on the scene and she’s ready to prove that not all reality show winners disappear. She comes to us with a fresh perspective on her new album in stores July 28 entitled People Get Ready. Coming out of Sacramento, California she captured many fans as a result of her win on the 2008 Gospel Music Channel’s Hit Series Gospel Dream. Now she’s set for her promotional tour with stops in New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Philadelphia. She also will tape an upcoming episode of BET’s “LIFT EVERY VOICE”, and will be a part of the Gospel Music Channel’s Gospel Dream 2009 season set to start airing in June. So u guessed it, we’re talking about the Hippest Pastors in the Universe- Pastors Deitrick and Damita Haddon! The Haddon’s were installed earlier this year as Pastors of the High Praise Church located in his native Detroit, Michigan. Integrity Music and Multiple Stellar Award Winner Johnathon Nelson has a new home as Minister of Music at Faith Center International, where Bishop Henry Fernandez is the Pastor. Nelson, a resident of Baltimore, MD for many years has spent the last seven years as Minister of Music at Empowerment Temple led by Pastor Jamal Harrison Bryant. Nelson and his award winning group Purpose is the recent winner of 3 Stellars for his Right Now Praise album along with his There will be a farewell concert in honor of his service at Empowerment Temple, Baltimore MD on May 31st, 2009.
