Lionsgate Films just released the trailer of Tyler Perry’s ‘I Can Do Bad All By Myself’ starring Perry, as well as Taraji P. Henson, Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight, Brian J. White, and Alex Rodriguez - with a cameo by Rev. Marvin Winans.

The film is based on Tyler Perry’s 2005 stage play and brings back his famed character Madea.. When Madea, America’s favorite pistol-packing grandma, catches sixteen-year-old Jennifer and her two younger brothers looting her home, she decides to take matters into her own hands. The story is also centered around April (played by Henson) a intercity prostitute burdened with life and the abrupt responsibility of raising her sisters three children.

Perry a professed Christian does include mild cursing in ‘I Can Do Bad All By Myself’, yet drives home a Godly message in everything he does. In addition, while we know his finished products have certainly evolved and can stand against any Hollywood Studio he continues to stay true to himself. ‘I Can Do Bad All By Myself’ hits theaters September 11th, 2009 and promises to be a tear jerker America can’t wait to see.

Several weeks ago the OC did a story about LeJuene Thompson, her husband Cedric Thompson, and the recent CD release entitled ‘Metamorphosis’ produced through their production company LeCe Productions. We are really excited about this new release and the title is so befitting seeing as it has been a long time coming for both Cedric and LeJuene who have been in the industry for years (Ced has produced over 63 albums …..OMG (goodness-had to clarify, I could just hear my grandmama saying “Don’t use the Lords name in vain”).

The Thompson’s have made this a family affair bringing their children Lil CJ a Music Mogul in the Making (he is really sick on the drums) and Chris a Football Sensation.

For this edition of ‘Really…Ok…’ we feature a interview of Lisa Ray a very popular Hollywood actress in the media most recently after forfeiting her title as First Lady and leaving her husband of 3 years Prime Minister Michael Misick the Premier of Turks & Caicos Islands because of irreconcilable differences.

In this interview Lisa is asked what she does to develop herself spirituality and her reply is ‘yoga’. She further explains that because she practices yoga, meditates, is a former Buddhist, presently a Christian, and being raised Baptist gives her a “strong spiritual foundation” that “makes her every woman”. Really…Ok….

This story was almost titled “Exciting News!!!Lisa Ray Professes Her Salvation” because we are, so excited about her profession and pray that God will continue to develop our sister (as he does for all of us) in the word and knowledge. We just got a little lost in her interpretation of being ‘every woman’. Check it out…

I must also add that while I have never “practiced” yoga in the sense of study, I have been to a couple of the exercise classes. These classes were very relaxing and I enjoyed them. In fact, I would still be taking the classes if it were not for my personal research on the truth behind yoga. The video clip that we are also providing, (a teaching from New York Times bestselling author Bishop George Bloomer best known for his books on demonic influence) teaches about yoga and its affects. The recent death of pop singer Michael Jackson has demanded the presence of political leader Reverend Al Sharpton in the public eye. Just hours following MJ’s tragic death Sharpton offers a very quick response to the many mourners and announced a memorial service being held that same night July 25th, 2009 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem via CNN News. During the life of Michael Jackson, Sharpton had been a close friend and confidant to the star. The untimely death of this American Legend has shed light upon Al’s loyalty to that relationship.

After his very moving memorial speech millions of Americans are expressing their new found respect for the reverend and his ministry. Americans are also commenting on the eloquence of his words while remaining true to himself. We are very eager to see what you think of this and have provided two videos (one of CNN reporting his response in front of the Apollo following the news of Michaels’ passing and the other of his memorial speech) to refresh your memory.
