The recent death of pop singer Michael Jackson has demanded the presence of political leader Reverend Al Sharpton in the public eye. Just hours following MJ’s tragic death Sharpton offers a very quick response to the many mourners and announced a memorial service being held that same night July 25th, 2009 at the Apollo Theater in Harlem via CNN News. During the life of Michael Jackson, Sharpton had been a close friend and confidant to the star. The untimely death of this American Legend has shed light upon Al’s loyalty to that relationship.
