Guess who’s back! The one and only “Luther Vandross of Gospel” Mr. Darwin Hobbs!!! Hobbs is scheduled to have his first CD/DVD recording ever on September 18, 2009 at the Oasis Worship Center in Nashville, TN. The album has been post titled ‘Praise and Worship; Songs to Enhance the Worship Lifestyle’. How loaded is that!!! Hobbs’ will release his new project on the Tyscot label, his second release on the label since his 2005 release entitled Worshipper (EMI Gospel).His first release with Tyscot ‘Free’ is featured below.

Hobb’s has been a very man. While touring and in the studio he has also been spending his time writing and co-producing much of his recent projects. He made hit cameo appearances on albums with Deitrick Haddon in the ever popular tune “He’s Able” and has been doing several interviews speaking with various media outlets in his effort to bring attention to the issue of molestation, incest, rape, and the always ‘taboo’ topic of homosexuality in the black community and its creep into the black church.All while battling personal health struggles in which God has completely healed him of. AMEN!!!
