Mary Mary’s Tina Campbell gave birth to a baby boy Tuesday, Oct. 20th. According to ilovemarymary.com, Campbell and her husband, Soul Seekers member Teddy Campbell, welcomed TJ into the world weighing seven pounds.

This is the third child for the couple. Campbell’s sister and group partner, Erica, has announced that she is three months pregnant with her second child. She is married to producer Warren Campbell.

Tina and her sister Erica Campbell both know how to balance fame with family life.  Although the sisters have a successful singing career and a jeans line, the duo make sure to be a “success” at home.

In a recent interview with Jet Magazine Erica Campbell says:

“If I’m a public success and a private failure at home, then I’ve failed. We have to make sure we succeed at home and the only way to do that is love.”

Erica and Tina are both married to unrelated men with the last name Campbell. Erica has one daughter named Krista, 5.

Who remembers RiZen ??? You know that soul stirring traditional gospel girl group from Saginaw, Michigan. It really doesn’t take long to recall their vocal powerhouse ability and how they had a way of making a crowd move.

Well RiZen is back, with their third CD ‘FREE’. But don’t expect the quartette we meet back in 2004 or the straight traditional sound they started with. Now, RiZen, once an eight member praise and worship team that made there start sing in their dad’s church, has evolved into a duo which features original members and real life sisters Adriann and Aundrea Lewis.

The new CD, ‘FREE’, was produced by urban gospel icon and label mate Fred Hammond, as well as Aaron Lindsey, Daniel Weatherspoon and RiZen’s younger brother and musical director, Ay’Ron Lewis.

When the girls are not on the road promoting or in the studio creating they are doing ministry. One of their most notable ventures is there prison ministry “RiZen From Prison” where they give a free concert every November at a women’s prison in Arizona. When each person is released from prison she is presented with a pair of stilettos as a reminder of her walk with Christ.
