Erica and Tina Campbell were among many stars who gathered at Jim Henson Studios in Los Angeles on Monday (February 1st) to re-record the iconic 1985 charity single, “We Are the World.” The 25th anniversary of the song comes in perfect timing to lend a soulful hand in the continued efforts to raise money for relief in Haiti. Several stars turned out in support including, Jennifer Hudson, Kanye West, Usher, will. i.am, Brandy, Toni Braxton, Barbra Streisand, LL Cool J, Wyclef Jean, India Arie, Lil Wanye .

“This one, the enthusiasm, I’ve never seen anything like it,” says Lionel Richie, who co-wrote the original song with Michael Jackson, and oversaw the new version with music legend Quincy Jones.
