Anointed psalmist and gifted songwriter, Tonya Baker who is currently signed to Kingdom Records has a new music home. She has been signed by RKD Music Management as the first solo female Psalmist & Songwriter Tonya Baker. Baker has been a vessel to the gospel music industry for many years. She has appeared on tapings of The Bobby Jones Show, local broadcasts of TBN, the Gospel Superfest, The Full Gospel Baptist Fellowship Conference Women’s Choir; numerous gospel music showcases such as The Stellar Awards Music Showcase, I Hear Music in the Air, The Gospel Music Workshop of America and the Gospel Heritage Foundation New Artist Showcase. She has ministered in several of the country’s mega-ministries. Some include Valley Kingdom Ministries (Apostle H. D. Wilson) of Chicago, Illinois and Mt. Zion Baptist Church (Bishop Joseph W. Walker) of Nashville, Tennessee. As a song writer and background vocalist she has worked with artist such as Tonex, Helen Baylor, Byron Cage, Percy Bady, and Lisa McClendon.

Baker’s own works include recordings “Life In Him,” “Since He Came In,” and “Special Friend” just to name a few. She has also been blessed to share the stage with renowned gospel artist Shirley Caesar, CeCe Winans, Dorinda Clark-Cole, Mary Mary and Tye Tribbett among others.
