I have noticed an influx of international OC viewers and wanted to extend a special thanks to all the countries represented below for helping OuterCourtTalk.com achieve an international presence!!!

In addition, during my daily site maintenance and review I often satisfy my curiosity and search IP Addresses of our viewers to see where you all are from. It truly amazes me how far our reach is spanning in the US. I want to say thank you for all your love and support so I’ll be sending shout outs to all those cities as well.

How WAS THE BLOG Birth?

OUTERCOURTTALK.COM was conceptualized by Tiffany Bowe in 2007. The grand-daughter of a Pentecostal Bishop, and growing up not having permission to listen to any other music gave her a general interest for gospel music. But it wasn’t until 2007 that she began to frequent the most popular gospel music events. It was then that she became mesmerized by the stars themselves. One thing she noticed however was the lack of press

coverage and media attention geared toward the multi-million consumer medium. It perplexed her to see the thousands of dollars in lights, staging, artist, hair, makeup, shoes, suits etcetera, all the effort and little to no coverage to show for it. There Was no gospel centered news medium fulfilling her desire to see more, hear more and know more about the enter workings of the gospel industry. No exclusive interviews, photos, videos and music that was posted daily.

It was then that she realized that it was more than just the music. But there was an entire culture that had not been fully introduced to the world. Soon after these thoughts she began expressing her idea of creating a gospel entertainment news blog, which would also utilize her Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism. She wanted to create something that would transcend cultural and denominational barriers in order to help make Christianity more main stream. This embodies the words of our Apostle Paul who taught us to become all things to all men that we may win some. Like Paul was in his era, it became her goal to develop into an instrument of change in the modern day African-American Church.

Well , She talked about it for a year(LOL) until her pastor (who was responsible for taking her and several other parishioners to all the popular gospel events) gave her a dead line to make her vision a reality. She began conceptualizing and creating an urban music news blog committed to keeping our community current and informed with the hottest and latest industry insight. She wanted to provide this in a format that would be language savvy and visually attractive.

Why Now???

A void needs to be filled. Myspace and Youtube should not be our main source for daily gospel music, FASHION, AND NEWS updates! With chain store gospel music sections shrinking, and media coverage lacking it is the plan of the enemy to make God’s people think that this music is dying. But we know God’s music is thriving. We just need a place to call our own that meets the caliber of who we are!

I want to especially thank my Risen Redeemer Jesus Christ for never becoming callus with my existence. Thank you for making me so multifaceted along with giving me so many witty ideas and the fortitude to see them out. Your Love is never failing, never fading and never fluctuating. When all hope was lost, when I was half homeless, when the lights were off, when the car was repossessed, from rape to mental institution to low self esteem you promised to never leave or forsake me and I thank you for holding your end of the deal.

To my mother Beverly Bowe, thank you for loving me so deep. You are such a strong woman. You provided for me in the most unseemly circumstances. I watched you ride a bike 7 miles a day to work a job that paid minimum wage for a boss that was less educated than you. Now when I see you all suited up for your executive position that oversees three hundred employees it makes me so proud. You deserve it. Bask In the blessings of the Lord that make you rich and add no sorrow.

To my father David Bowe, other mom Rebecca Bowe, sisters Christina and Nyasha Bowe, and my brother David Jonathan Bowe Thank you for loving me. You have all shown me living examples of my heritage and part of what makes me who I am. Good to have that part of the puzzle complete.

To all of my Grandparents Evangelist Minnie Lee Randolph, Evangelist Josephine Bowe, Bishop Marshall Bowe (deceased), Grand-man Pommy (deceased) I am working so hard to see your godly legacy, and entrepreneurial anointing live on through me.

To my cousins Dante, Shanita, Camellia, Aaron, Quincy, Nicole and the entire Randolph, Stanley, Grove, Bowe families thank you for your continual words of encouragement.

To my Aunt Lois I look up to you so much you have always been an example of a mighty woman of God and a force in the Kingdom. I remember staying at your house and being sleep at five in the morning and you would come in laying hands and slabbing(that’s my made up word) me down with oil and praying fire down from heaven. I laughed about it then but it’s that same power and authority that kept me out of the enemies reach. It’s the power that I pray to walk in everyday of my life. Thank you so much; sincerely I thank you for praying, prophesying and imparting so much wisdom into me.

To my Pastor, Life Coach, Mentor, and Spiritual Father Gregory B. Drumwright thank you for showing me how it’s done, loving me till it hurts (you) and rebuking me till I’m healed. I would still be talking about a site if it were not for your push. While others purposely closed doors, shut down ideas, and killed dreams as I sat under their ministries, you gave me a chance when I didn’t deserve one. You have exposed me to so much. While you have lifted a Godly standard you never box me in. You have fathered, loved, and affirmed me when others were too scared to know what would happen if they did. Guiding me through my process of deliverance has been a daunting task that only Kings in the Kingdom could withstand. Even many of those few would not take it on. But you have. Through pasturing me you have been hurt, bruised, battered, and so on. But like God you have not given up on me. Thank you for showing me what a good shepherd in the Lords Church looks like. A Pastor is a direct reflection of God and his relationship with man, and you are exactly that. For all these and a list too long to express I am eternally grateful.

To Grace, thank you for working to do what it takes to get your artist more exposure. It’s going to be fun working with you and all entities that encompass VGSL Entertainment.
