The highly anticipated release of Kim Burrell’s latest recording project came out today. It’s a very special album commemorating the greatest gift to mankind… Love.

“The Love Album” covers a highly diverse and creative group of tracks. Dramatically shifting gears from ‘No Ways Tired’ which primarily focused on gospel’s golden standards, Burrell’s second release for Shenachie Entertainment, ‘The Love Album’, spins the love theme with songs of praise, worship, romance and inspiration.

With the release of Pastor Kim’s new record, she points out to us the true source of happiness and joy with a simply title, ‘The Love Album’, that will feature Kim at her best.

This unusual melting pot of material might take the gospel traditionalists aback. She positioned the album as a collector’s item for her loyal fans but will attract new ones following. Burrell credits producer Cory Henry for being the main ingredient in her collaboration, with friend and producer Asaph Ward.

The excitement is building for Shirley Murdock’s first Live  CD/DVD Recording set for April 28. We have all been listening to Sis. Murdock for years and has of course recorded many albums but never live.Murdock insiders  are already  stamping the event as “Amazing” . Elbernita “Twinkies” Clark’s new solo CD ‘With Humility’ presents a bold new and fresh side of the gospel icon.While looking amazing all at the same time!  With her signature sound she also takes  a looks back and testifies about her life over more than four decades  in one of gospel musics greatest groups of all time.This is Twinkies first solo outing since the famous sisters came together in 2007 for ‘The Clark Sisters Live One Last Time’.

If you read the headline and thought “just another athlete with a dream to sing” just think again! Todd Dulaney is not just another celebrity with the money to make record deals happen, he actually has the vocal skills to justify any record execs ‘John Hancock’ on the dotted line…..but not just that he’s anointed to minister the Lord’s music and that is the ‘it’ factor with this guy.

Born in south suburban Maywood, IL on December 20, 1983 Todd spent most of his life pursuing a baseball career. The hard work paid off, he was a 32nd round draft choice and played 5 years of professional baseball for the New York Mets. Due to an untimely injury his career was unfortunately ended.

Story has it that Todd was never really a singer like that, focusing mainly on his athletic abilities. One Sunday his pastor (through the leading Holy Ghost) called him out of the audience to sing a song and even Dulaney was surprised by what he heard. This amazing discovery developed into the position he presently holds as worship leader.

“When I was released by the Mets, it crushed me. Life after the game can crush any player. Even when a player retires after years of playing, he starts to look around like “What’s next?” My first route was to go to church. I became a member of Smokey Norful’s church. I was excited about what he was doing. I sang on the praise team at church and he asked me to sing background for him,” said Dulaney in an interview with Rolling Out Newspaper.

Now, his instantly likeable single, ‘Pulling Me Through’ is in the Top 40 on all three gospel music charts and continues to rise. ‘Pulling Me Through’ is a praise anthem that grips you with every word. When asked about his new single ‘Pullin Me Through’ he says:

“It is by God’s grace and mercy that we overcome and as we trust Him, He will pull us through every situation”
