Multiple Stellar Award winner, Maurett Brown Clark is one of Gospel Music’s Sweetheart. A native of Long Island, New York, she began  her singing career with her family group. Maurette Brown – Clark was musically influenced by her parents and some of New York’s greatest gospel artists, including one who lived just two towns over, Pastor Donnie McClurkin. Brown-Clark says,

“He would come over to our church Little Zion and I would be mesmerized…. just blown away! I was a teenager back then…didn’t know it…couldn’t quite put my finger on it…but it was the anointing. And I knew that’s what I wanted. How Donnie was affecting me, that’s how I want to affect people. Although, I was later influenced by CeCe Winans and my mentor, Richard Smallwood, Donnie affected the way that I wanted to live for Jesus, through my music.”

Currently she is preparing for the release of her fourth solo project entitled” The Sound of Victory” which was recorded live in Norfolk Va. the first single is entitled ” I hear the Sound of Victory”, and she is excited about this next phase in her music ministry and is looking forward to what God has for her.

She happily maintain her status as a member of Richard Small Wood’s choir, Vision. the singer,songwriter,mom,producer,wife and musician knows that with God nothing is impossible and her life and music are a testimony to that.

Going alongside him are Verity recording artists Deon Kipping and Jason Nelson, BET’s Sunday Best winner Amber Bullock, and formal Men of Standard singer, Isaac Carree. These awesome voices will be traveling across nineteen states within the month of November.

This tour is based upon Franklin’s passion for letting the nation hear the message being sent through his Hello Fear album, uncovering the fears people face in our economic and confusing hard times through what is now everyday life. Franklin is also bringing the risk of stroke awareness to many African Americans and educating on how to prevent it from occurring in our lives. Double Dutch Productions (DDP) had to apologize to 2004′s American Idol winner Fantasia Barrino who is to portray the late “Queen of Gospel” singer Mahalia Jackson in an upcoming biographical film when the film’s financing broker, Adrian Taylor, spoke disrespectfully of Barrino’s lifestyle of her latest pregnancy, saying she was “the wrong image for having a child out of wedlock”. DDP set the record straight regarding Taylor’s false comments from their company and apologized in regard to jeopardizing Barrino’s reputation.

As we all know Psalmist Mahalia Jackson was an amazing figure in the historic timeline and shaping of what we know today as Gospel Music. In light of these and other factors this is an important movie to be made. Let just focus our prayers on it being made well and ALL the actors including the lead being talented enough to bring justice to the body of work.

It’s come to light by the attendees of Bishop Eddie Long’s “Wealth Tour Live” seminars back in 2009 that the program his church, New Birth Missionary Baptist, and ten other members took part in sponsoring led to be a million dollar scheme.

Bishop Long and business partner, Ephren Taylor (CEO of City Capital) held seminars around Georgia  that had people invest into the “Ponzi (or Pyramid) Scheme“ that gave 20% annual returns in investments, yet according to members of Long’s church and the attendees of the seminars, checks that were to be $1500 dollars were merely $200 sent from a defective company all along. Members of Long’s church have filed a civil suit against the Bishop and Taylor in DeKalb County State Court because of their marketing into what looks like a con. Eddie Long’s church is now under investigation.
